You are in the right place if you…

  • don’t feel like your home quite represents who you are and isn’t living up to it’s full potential.

  • are someone with great taste, but not quite sure how to pull your space together.

  • are expecting a baby and want to create a sweet nursery that is also functional, timeless and will grow with your child.

  • are renovating your kitchen/bath and need some guidance with all the options for tile, countertops and cabinets, hardware, etc.

  • are about to sell your home and want to maximize profit.

  • are super busy and just need someone else to manage your renovation.

  • like to go the DIY route, but want a professional interior designer to bounce your ideas off of.

  • are a small business owner looking to improve your space to match the amazing company culture (or improve it!).

Interior Design Services:

I love working with individuals in their homes as well as with small businesses in their commercial spaces and offices.

I work with you to identify your needs and assess the possibilities of your space. Services include space planning, furniture layouts (using new and existing furniture), sourcing and purchasing of furniture/items, communication with contractors and other trades-people. Visual presentations, including mood boards, mockups, floor plans, elevations and renderings are offered as needed.

Residential: I work with you on your project big or small, with your new build, a renovation or redesigning a single room. Whether you have many existing pieces of furniture/decor/permanent fixtures already or you are starting from scratch. I work with you to not only identify your needs, but also to understand your aesthetic in order to create a space tailored to you so that you can thrive in your home!

Commercial: I work with you and your team to reimagine your spaces to better suit the needs, but also the vibe of your company. Keeping your brand in mind we create a space where your employees can thrive and your customers/clients can’t wait to come back!

Home Staging Services:

60 min Virtual Staging Consultation $160: About to put your home on the market? I will give you suggestions on how you may want to rearrange your furniture, what you may want to add or remove and give you tips on styling and tweaks that you then implement on your own to ensure you get the highest bids possible. I can also suggest paint color when appropriate. You send me photos of the spaces ahead of our meeting so you can get the most out of our time meeting together. A lot of the time the small tweaks can make a big impact!

Full-Service Home Staging: I help you with your spaces in various capacity. The starting point is your existing furniture which we will combine with additional items that I will suggest to you. Sometimes only smaller complementary items are needed. I will also suggest what preferably should be removed to make your home more attractive to potential buyers. I will create a shopping list with links to the items suggested and you can choose to do the purchasing yourself, or I can take care of this for you. When everything has arrived and specified items have been removed, I will come over and put everything into place and do the final styling. If you work with me virtually I will guide you through the process through a video call.

Model Unit Staging: I stage units in your multi-family housing projects and get them photo-ready as well as ready for potential tenants/buyers to tour. You provide me with the architectural floor plans (if not available, I will take field measurements). After assessing the layout I put together a furniture- and styling-plan tailored to your space and customized to your building and brand. I will create a shopping list with links to the items and you can choose to do the procurement yourself, or I can take care of this for you. Together with your handyman, I will come onsite for installation day. After photos have been taken and touring is done, you could chose to rent/sell the furniture and items with the apartment or continue to use them with future models.

Note, I do not carry inventory or offer rentals.

FAQs

Do you work with my budget?

Yes! I work within your budget, big or small. No matter what your budget is, there are always limitations to what can be done. I help you sort out what can and can not be done, and what is most important to you. We figure out what we can do to make the biggest impact, and where you may want to save.

How will you approach my design project?

Function. Firstly I look to identify how you use or wish to use the particular space and what can be done to improve the functions the space is intended to fill. All of the practical needs. What is working right now? What isn’t working?

Feel. We also explore how you would like to feel in the space. Is the goal to feel energized and inspired or perhaps relaxed and peaceful? What are your goals for this space?

These questions are addressed through a questionnaire as well as conversations between you and me and can be in person or virtual. All the decision-makers will need to be present for these conversations to ensure the best outcome and most efficient work possible.

Surroundings. I assess the possibilities of your space while also considering the surroundings and the building/house as a whole as I believe these things should have an impact on how we design a space in order for it to feel authentic and intentional rather than out of place.

Aesthetic. We will work together to get a good understanding of your design aesthetic (or your branding, if commercial), what you like and what you don’t like. I like to use Pinterest as a visual communication tool for this.

How long will my project take?

This is highly dependent on the project. More time means more options for you when it comes to furniture and custom work as you can then include items with longer lead times. Of course, when it comes to renovations these will always require more time than if you are looking to redesign with some fresh paint and furniture. This is especially true in these times when contractors and tradesmen are very busy. I recommend you reach out to get the ball rolling sooner rather than later to allow time for the design-magic to take place.

How will you charge me for your services?

Unless otherwise noted above, I charge by the hour. I found this to be the most fair and transparent way to charge for my services.
